چکیده
This work aims at studying the potential of modifying surface used polyamide (PA) reverse osmosis (RO) commercial membranes by coatings made renewable and biodegradable polymers, chitosan (CS) polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), filled with Cu-ion-exchange layered AM-4 titanosilicate UZAR-S3 stannosilicate to provide antifouling properties enlarging life time thin-film composite (TFC) membranes. The water permeation fouling ratios were evaluated as a function active layer material in presence model organic (BSA) inorganic (NaCl) foulants. mixed matrix membrane (MMM) added on PA generally decreased flux decline increased permeate flow recovery rate. CS:PVA based promote reversible not irreversible fouling, especially CuAM-4CS:PVA. Beside, ATR-FTIR confirms nature BSA NaCl fouling. These results may future open possibility renewing useful lifetime RO simple coating method light circular economy.

The tissue engineering strategy is a new approach for the regeneration of cementum, which is essential for the regeneration of the periodontal tissue. This strategy involves the cell cultures present in this tissue, called cementoblasts, and located on an appropriate substrate for posterior implantation in the regeneration site. Prior studies from our research group have shown that the prolifer...

In this study microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) was oxidized by 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical (TEMPO)-mediated oxidation. The treated cellulose slurry was mechanically homogenized to form a transparent dispersion which consisted of individual cellulose nanofibers with uniform widths of 3-4 nm. Bio-nanocomposite films were then prepared from a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-chitosan (CS) ...

متن کاملPreparation and Characterization of Maleic Anhydride Cross-Linked Chitosan-Polyvinyl Alcohol Hydrogel Matrix Transdermal Patch
Transdermal drug delivery systems are polymeric patches containing dissolved or dispersed drugs that deliver therapeutic agents at a constant rate to the human body. Matrix type transdermal patches were prepared using alprazolam as a model drug and employing the combinations of chitosan-polyvinyl alcohol (CS-PVA) cross linked with Maleic anhydride. The transdermal patches were evaluated for the...
